For consumer dispute resolution, consumers can file complaints through the following three methods:
- Call the national consumer service hotline 1950.
- Visit the Administration Yuan Consumer Protection Commission website (https://appeal.cpc.ey.gov.tw/WWW/Default.aspx) to submit an online application, or download the application form, fill it out, and fax or mail it to the Consumer Service Center of the local government’s Department of Legal Affairs.
- Apply in person at the Consumer Service Center of the local government’s Department of Legal Affairs.
Jurisdiction: In case of disputes, both parties agree that the Hualien District Court shall have jurisdiction as the court of first instance.
